Thanks to improvements in carbon layup, our engineers were able to make the new Synapse 18% more flexible than the already incredible previous model, ensuring maximum comfort even on the bumpiest roads.

It fits you perfectly and makes your rides unforgettable. And thanks to our Proportional Response construction, this comes standard for every rider. From the layering of the carbon to the geometry, every element on the Synapse has been fine-tuned and tested for each frame size. That way the bike works in perfect harmony with you, ensuring the best possible experience based on your height.

Our new StashPort storage system found in the down tube is always at hand when you need it and discreetly concealed when you don't. Paired with the StashBag, you can carry all your essentials with you on rides, knowing it will be safe no matter what you do. Meanwhile, the best-in-class wheel transition lets you take the idea of riding longer to a whole new level.

Tires for Big Adventures
With generous tire clearance of up to 48 mm wide at the front and 42 mm wide at the rear with at least 4 mm of extra tire clearance per side, the Synapse is a road bike fit for longer pedaling on any trail.

StashPort + StashBag
StashPort is our idea of a storage system on the down tube, accessible under the bottle cage. Each Synapse comes with StashBag, a specially designed pouch for tools and other essentials for your rides.

“D-shaped” seatpost
The Synapse's D-shaped seatpost design improves aerodynamics and vertical comfort while reducing fatigue to keep performance high on even the longest rides.

Aerodynamics that make you fly
Cannondale's exclusive Delta V-shaped steerer tube keeps the handlebar area clean thanks to internal sheath passage, while the reduced front head tube area brings aerodynamic benefits. Functional and stylish.

Wheel sensor
The Cannondale wheel sensor provides highly accurate information on speed, distance and route, maintenance reminders and more via the Cannondale app
