DT Swiss Arc 1100 Dicut 85 Carbon Disc front wheel
Take the lead of your next race with our fastest road racing wheels
Being a leader is not for the faint of heart. The third generation of ARC reaches a new peak of innovation, with wider inner rim width, now 22 mm, that ideally supports wider tires providing you with grip and comfort. You will be able to storm ahead with enhanced speed over a long period. With a unique v-shape allow for a wider inner width without compromising aerodynamics and weight. The ARC 1100 DICUT 38, with its 38 mm high rim remains the ultimate climbing wheelset combining light weight and aero-optimization for a swift rise to the top. The top-of-the-line 180 DICUT hub with Ratchet EXP System and SINC ceramic bearings, as well as DT aerolite II spokes are the final ingredients needed to cross the finish line first. Join our mission to improve, to keep striving, to get ahead. The lead is taken, not given.
V-shaped carbon rim
The new rim shape has a smaller frontal area, resulting in reduced aerodynamic drag.
Aero WTS
Now available as a complete aerodynamic wheel system (WTS) with new AERO 111 front tire.
Aero spokes
The latest generation of spokes, DT Aerolite II, guarantee low aerodynamic resistance to rotation and translation.
Hub
New 180 DICUT hubs with low-friction SINC Ceramic bearings.
Now lighter for faster climbs
With a rim height of 38 mm and an inner width of 20 mm, this climbing wheel set guarantees low weight to overcome even the steepest gradients.

Aero+
Translational drag is the aerodynamic force that slows the cyclist down in the direction of travel. This force depends on the cyclist's frontal impact surface (75%), the road bike and its components (25%), and speed. To minimise translational resistance, the impact surface of the cyclist/bike combination must be limited by optimising its aerodynamics as much as possible. If you want to go faster, it is essential to reduce the aerodynamic resistance of the cyclist/bike combination, as the force increases proportionally to the square of the speed. From 15 km/h upwards, aerodynamic drag is the greatest resistance that the cyclist has to overcome. The front wheel plays a key role, accounting for 8% of total drag.
Ratchet EXP technology
Much more than optimised reliability. The fusion of the sprocket and threaded ring into a single piece is a major advantage, as it reduces the number of components in the system. The use of a single cylindrical spring ensures faster engagement, thus improving reliability. The integration of the bearing into the threaded ring maximises the distance between the bearings. This increased spacing provides greater support for the axle and reduces deflection, while optimising bearing protection and durability.
Tubeless technology
All DT Swiss wheels are compatible with tubeless technology, and ASM versions are designed for tubeless systems, equipped with tubeless tape and valves. Tubeless tyres offer several advantages over the traditional combination of inner tube and tyre: the tyre can be inflated to lower pressure levels without the risk of pinching (so-called “snake bite” punctures) and with superior grip. The lower pressure offers greater riding comfort and the absence of an inner tube eliminates friction between the inner tube and the tyre, resulting in reduced rolling resistance on terrain and obstacles. The use of a sealant for tubeless systems allows the tyre to self-seal punctures and small cuts. This is a great advantage for those who enjoy long rides and who, in the event of a problem, would find themselves several kilometres from the nearest repair shop.
Bearing technology
DT Swiss hubs are designed to function optimally once mounted on the bicycle. To this end, the tightening torque generated by the wheel mounting system must be taken into account when manufacturing the hubs. Find out how to ensure optimal rolling capacity of ball bearings and why DT Swiss does not manufacture hubs with adjustable bearing play.
WTS Technology
While already offering some of the fastest wheels on the market, the next step was to start thinking about the wheel and tire as a complete system: the Wheel Tire System (WTS). With AERO 111, we developed the ideal front tire tailored to our rims, taking aerodynamic optimization to the next level. The development of the complete wheel-tire system (WTS) is part of our AERO+ concept, the perfect synthesis of resistance, handling, and efficiency. We have applied this technology to our Aero and Endurance categories, taking their aerodynamic advantages to the next level with a tailor-made tire that fits perfectly with their respective internal rim widths.
