Technologies
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless Ready tyres can be used both with and without an inner tube. To use it without a tube the tyre is sealed with a special sealing milk. It also provides the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube.
MICHELIN Magi-X
MICHELIN Magi-X offers the highest level of grip within Michelin treads for extreme use. For each product, a different version of MICHELIN Magi-X offers the required tyre performance. This compound was developed using technology used in MotoGP™.
GUM-X
A type of rubber compound that combines three different performance characteristics: grip, performance and durability. MICHELIN Gum-X technology guarantees high rolling efficiency and a good level of grip. Each product has its own version of MICHELIN Gum-X that offers the required performance. MICHELIN Power Time Trial is equipped with MICHELIN Gum-X technology for maximum rolling efficiency.
