Finding the optimal balance between different types of carbon was not the only decision made during its development. The rounded shapes of the tubes significantly reduce volume, resulting in a smaller frontal area and improved aerodynamics, as well as a much cleaner aesthetic.
The SL version combines high-modulus and ultra-high-modulus carbon fibers distributed and layered in different orientations to achieve a perfect balance between lightness, stiffness, and absorption. In terms of geometry, it still maintains the G2 philosophy, although the commitment to a more competitive bike has resulted in a slight reduction in stack and reach, managing to reduce the rider's frontal area, allowing for a slightly longer and lower position, all without compromising comfort.
