Technology
Pertex® Quantum
Pertex® Quantum is one of the lightest, high-performance fabrics on the market. Its yarns are made of 100% nylon (polyamide). It is very thin, lightweight (35g/m2) and has a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft fabric that is extraordinarily robust and abrasion resistant. Pertex® Quantum is windproof, water resistant and highly breathable. This means it allows moisture vapour to escape to the outside. The high-performance fabric from Japan is primarily used to let insulation fully loft. It can prevent even the finest down quills from penetrating. Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, Pertex® Quantum fabrics are designed to trap still air and improve the efficiency of insulation.
