The BL-M9220 brake lever is designed with advanced ergonomics designed for the cyclist's hand, and offers powerful traction with consistent feel and modulation for optimal control. The new pivot point follows the natural arch of the fingers, while the lever's blade (tilted 5 degrees upwards) and range adjustment put the rider in a natural position to tackle technical sections of the trail. The redesigned SERVO WAVE optimises the power curve without friction, while the new low-viscosity mineral oil maintains constant power in all temperatures and terrain.

High consistency and control make the BR-M9220 the strongest caliper in the M9200 family. The new low-viscosity mineral oil keeps the M9220 brake's attack point constant on all trails and in all weather conditions, and the new brake pads eliminate noise caused by vibration. Increased power and consistency combined with quietness give riders decisive control on the toughest trails.
