Raised Rear
The elevated rear section of the 612 R ERGOWAVE® provides added support for the sit bones and helps stabilize your position on the saddle. This allows for more efficient power transfer, especially during high-intensity efforts, climbs, and when riding in an aggressive, forward-leaning posture. It keeps you in the optimal position – so every watt counts.

Race Shape
A narrower mid-section and streamlined saddle nose reduce friction and offer maximum leg clearance – ideal for an efficient pedal stroke in aggressive, aerodynamic riding positions. Perfectly tailored for road racing.

Lightweight Performance
Starting at just 165 g, the 612 R is built for speed. Carbon rails and a flex-optimized shell reduce weight while maintaining comfort and lateral compliance. The ultra-light cover is grippy and abrasion-resistant, and the minimal, closed-cell padding keeps everything streamlined without sacrificing support.

Extended Dip
The slight depression in the middle of the saddle has been lengthened for a very sporty sitting position to reduce the pressure on the sensitive structures of the perineal area.
