The XX Eagle Transmission derailleur radically changes the relationship between the cassette and the derailleur. Designed as an integrated and interdependent transmission component, the T-Type derailleur mounts around the wheel axle itself, coming into direct contact with the cassette thanks to a unique hookless interface. The innovative Full Mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection and grips both sides of the frame. The new derailleurs feature the same intuitive pairing and setup procedure as Eagle AXS derailleurs. The low-profile design houses replaceable skid plates that increase reliability in high-pressure racing environments. To improve performance, the lower pulley, called the Magic Wheel, continues to spin if an object gets stuck. In addition, the XX Eagle Transmission derailleur features an overload clutch, a common maintenance system, and features that real-world cyclists appreciate.
