Assos Tactica Spring Fall T5 bib shorts

Midweight thermoregulation that breathes and repels water, engineered for low-intensity off-road riding in cool, wet conditions and equipped for adventure cycling and touring with easy-access, integrated storage. The mercurial conditions of the shoulder seasons are especially challenging off-road, so we engineered the TACTICA Spring Fall Bib Shorts T5 to combine technologies from the road-specific MILLE GT line with durable versatility for riding beyond the tarmac. The RX EVO textile is a highly insulating, breathable barrier against inclement conditions, suitable for spring and fall during low-intensity riding on trails and gravel. Two thigh pockets provide additional storage for ride essentials and fuel, unlocking longer days of exploration, and the trickledown rollBar technology locks the gravel-tuned, chatter-muting, and trail-smoothing TACTICA T5 insert in place. Featured fabrics
RX EVO is a breathable, thermoregulating textile with an ECO water-repellent treatment and a soft, brushed inner face. The elastic elements are true black, so they don’t turn white while stretching. The pockets are created with panels of K-Net, a supportive, breathable warp-knit mesh that wraps contents in stabilizing security.

Construction/fit
The TACTICA T5 mobility-enhancing fit is less aggressive than our racingFit, balancing streamlined, low-volume aerodynamics with multi-hour comfort and less restriction off the bike.

RollBar
A patented fastening design taken from the Racing series. It stabilises the chamois and locks it in place, accompanying weight shifts during sprints, out-of-saddle moments and turns.

ZeroPressure Waist
A soft, highly elastic structure that improves comfort and support at the waist, reducing any pressure or tightness.

PILtec Plug-In
A lightweight strip of ultra-breathable fabric applied to the leg hem. Micro silicone grippers, invisible from the outside, stabilise the shorts and ensure they stay in place even when damp or wet.

Shock-Absorb Damping Mono
A single 11 mm breathable layer for maximum off-road comfort, designed to absorb micro-shocks and vibrations on gravel and singletrack trails.

GoldenGate 2.0
The pad is secured at the front and rear, leaving freedom of movement in the floating centre section, so that it moves with the body rather than creating friction. The new side shaping reduces bulk and friction throughout the pedal stroke.

3D Waffle
A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
