Aerohead II Mips® is the most aerodynamic time trial helmet ever, designed with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and in-depth studies of VR (Rotational Velocity). Tested in the wind tunnel by the fastest riders of Team Visma.

Designed with sophisticated CFD and VR systems, and tested in the wind tunnel by two-time Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard, the Aerohead II Mips® is the most aerodynamic time trial helmet ever. Thanks to the Mips® Air Node protection, a lightweight and ventilated solution for managing rotational energy, CE and CPSC safety standards are met and exceeded. Visibility is optimized with an oversized Zeiss® Optics visor attached to the helmet via magnets and positioned away from the cyclist's face. This allows airflow over the forehead and below the Roc Loc® 5 Air adjustment system. Each Aerohead II comes with two visors (Clear and Vivid® Smoke) and a padded case for transport. Features

• The two-piece shell combines a robust rigid outer shell with an internal polycarbonate shell, permanently fused to the padding, for increased durability without excessive weight.
• The Mips® Air Node system is a low-friction layer laminated to the base of the padding. It represents a lightweight and highly ventilated solution for reducing rotational energy. It is connected to the padding by "nodes" with Velcro-like fabric closures. In case of angled impacts, the nodes are designed to detach locally, allowing the padding to slide and reduce rotational motion transferred to the head.
• The ergonomic, compact, and micro-adjustable dial not only optimizes stability and fresh airflow through the helmet, but also allows independent adjustment of vertical fit and various contact points. The fit is personalized, with exceptional comfort.
• Proprietary Super Fit size system is based on "human-fit" data and over 25 years of helmet manufacturing experience. Our helmets are designed to fit different head shapes, with molds in up to 4 different sizes. Our Super Fit sizes comfortably and perfectly adjust to cyclists, providing a custom-like feel.
• Giro helmets are developed using our patented Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system. This sophisticated design combines intake vents on the shell and exhaust channels inside the helmet, forcing fresh air over and around the head while expelling heat. It is the most effective cooling system available: you feel the difference every time you ride.
• Pure silver is the secret ingredient that gives IONIC+® the power to provide natural, permanent odor protection, keeping the helmet fresher for longer.
• The internal padding of the helmet is the result of aggressive engineering, designed to promote airflow through the helmet in combination with our Wind Tunnel vents. This allows fresh air to find the fastest path in and expels hot air efficiently.

Roc Loc® 5 Air MIPS Adjustment System
This revolutionary adjustment system takes helmet performance to a new level, improving cooling, comfort, and stability. Thanks to a patented design that keeps the helmet slightly elevated from the top of the head, the Roc Loc® 5 Air MIPS allows fresh air to flow directly over the head, further enhancing the effectiveness of the intake vents and internal channels that expel heat from the helmet. Fit and comfort adjustments follow the Roc Loc® 5 MIPS style, allowing easy customization of tension and fore-aft tilt in seconds, with one hand.
