Mavic Ceramic : Premium bearings materials, premium performance
With its special properties, ceramic makes bearings spin a little faster and are more durable. Together with premium ceramic material, we use premium low-density grease paired with ultra slick seals.

The lower bridge of the rim is threaded to receive the spokes directly at the appropriate angle. This gives a stiff link, no spoke movement (less spoke break), and the rim upper bridge remains undrilled so 100% airtight for easy Tubeless set up.

Tape-free tubeless technology for Fore rims
Stiffer and more resistant. Instead of being drilled, the lower bridge of the rim is pushed upwards inside, then threaded to allow the spoke nipples to be screwed directly into it, leaving the upper bridge of the rim intact.
