Mavic Crossmax 29" Boost 6 bolts rear wheel

The Crossmax name has a long tradition in the world of cross-country, and this new set of wheels confirms its prestige, with many features and technologies typical of pro-level racing models, but at a more affordable price. One of its key features is UST technology, which allows easy fitting of tubeless ready tyres, with all the advantages that come with it, such as optimal traction and control, smoother pedalling and reduced risk of punctures. The rim is welded for greater reliability and boasts an internal width of 25 mm and a hookless profile.The lighter design of the Infinity hub optimises lateral stiffness and spoke tension. The Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system guarantees fast engagement and high reliability. The rear hub is compatible with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD drive bodies. The wheel is supplied with valves, spare spokes and accessories.

QRM Auto bearing preload
Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto the latest innovation. The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to ensure perfect spin without play over long distances.

SUP welding
Stronger, smoother joint Soudé Usiné process. After bending, the rim joint is arc-welded. The welded joint is then milled to achieve a smooth finish.
