Mavic E-Deemax rim

Solid, reliable and durable, with a new profile

The name E-Deemax has become a benchmark for e-bike users. This new E-Deemax rim lives up to its name, with many of the same features and technologies as the top-of-the-range model, but at a much more affordable price. A completely new rim profile has been designed for this new version. With a wider rim base, fitting the strongest and most rigid tyres has never been easier.
The unique Pinch Flat Protection (PFP) technology offers a larger contact area at the top of the sidewall, significantly reducing the risk of cuts and punctures. Thanks to PFP technology, the tyre can withstand 20% more impacts before being cut. The rim is welded for reliability and features a 30 mm inner width with Tubeless Ready compatibility, which allows a lower tyre pressure to be used for better traction and control. Like all E-Deemax rims, this new option has been validated in the lab and in the field for a maximum total weight of 180 kg.

Lightweight and resistant. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a better strength-to-weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.

UST tubeless technology
Traction and control. Universal Tubeless Standard. Ready-to-ride tubeless system. UST improves traction, control and comfort, reducing inertia and the risk of punctures.

Pinch Flat Protection sidewalls (minimise the risk of cuts and punctures)
The risk of punctures is reduced by 20% thanks to the PFP system. An innovation specifically for e-bikes, which significantly reduces the risk of punctures and tears.

SUP welding technology
Welded process, a stronger and smoother connection. After strapping, the rim joint is arc-welded. The welded joint is then machined to a smooth finish.
