It’s time to ride the Wave: Get ultimate grip and bike control with the innovative Wave pedals
Most flat pedal profiles are either convex or concave. Wave is a patented hybrid convex/concave shape that promotes an aggressive heels-dropped riding position and gives you a more natural pedal stroke when seated. With Wave, your foot is being held by the shape of the pedal - not just the pins.
Convex + Concave = Wave
The concave front of the pedal hugs the ball of your foot. The sloped back half promotes an aggressive heels-down foot position for more power and control.
The Story of Wave
After thousands of hours on the bike, 8 design iterations and 4+ years of testing, they introduced a new take on flat pedal design.
New Axle System
Wave uses a chromoly axle with igus™ bushings and three bearings. They're fully serviceable and come with our Pedal Bearing Nut Tool.
Shape
Wave works with the shape of your foot to give you more control
and more grip from the pedal, not just the pins. The concave front half of the pedal hugs the ball of your foot, holding it securely in place on rough descents. The convex back half of the pedal is sloped down, giving you an aggressive heels-down riding position for more power and control.
Construction
Wave pedals feature a fully redesigned axle, bearing and bushing layout which is reliable and easy to service. They also feature fully threaded ‘hollow-hex’ pins that are angled forward up to 10 degrees to increase grip while riding and further emphasize the Wave shape. Every pair of Wave pedals comes with our Bearing Nut Tool and uses the same rebuild kit as our Clip Pedals - making service parts easy to stock
