NEW P ZERO RACE TLR - 100% Made in Italy
The new P Zero Race TLR are the first PIRELLI product with tubeless technology made entirely in Italy, in the new Bollate factory.
The new generation PZERO Race TLR is the highest performing tyre in the PIRELLI portfolio, as well as being the first tyre with tubeless technology made entirely in Italy. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing involves the use of a mixed aramid compound that coats the inner layer of the tyre, improving both the smoothness and resistance of the rubber. The result: a less rigid but faster tyre. The compound, on the other hand, retains the same advanced SmartEVO technology shared with the other tyres in the PZERO high performance range.

Technologies
SmartEVO Compound
So far the most advanced racing chemical formulation for road use, it was born from the Motorsport experience of Pirelli and the collaboration with the factory World Tour teams. The new SmartEVO Compound features a single-compound formulation based on three different polymers, each of which provides opposite performances in a perfec blend. The advanced mixture of polymers with 'smart' behaviors are the key elements of the SmartEVO Compound, providing better grip and rolling resistance in any weather condition. The SmartEVO Compound is an high-performance chemical formulation developed for modern road cycling, from everyday training to World Tour racing. SmartEVO Compound is an exclusive feature of the P ZERO range.
SPEEDCORE
The best performing tubeless-ready road structure in the Pirelli range features a mixed compound layer with aramid that coats the inner layer of the tyre, making it airtight. This new structure makes the tyre more resistant, thanks to the presence of the aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The casing is then completed by a 120tpi Nylon ply and an anti-puncture layer, also made of aramid.
