SLR-EV
SLR-EV is the SLR system with a symmetrical dual-pivot brake body. The new short arm brake design uses two bearings and a roller bearing to ensure maximum efficiency in the pivot area and provide more modulation and power for braking. In combination with the BC-9000 brake cable, the new calipers offer 36% more braking power than the previous SHIMANO model.
Reach Adjust
The brake lever is equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the stroke. The distance between the handlebar grip and the lever can be adjusted to suit any size of hand and the rider's individual style and preferences.
Dual Control Lever
DCL stands for DUAL CONTROL LEVER. The lever performs braking and shifting functions and is easy and intuitive to use. Ergonomic innovation is fundamental to the higher standards of Dura-Ace performance compared to additional ratios. The new internal shifting mechanisms owe their robustness to Shimano's MTB technologies, and are so efficient that it is possible to change gears or chainrings at the touch of a finger. In fact, the shifting action represents the ultimate fulfilment of the SHIMANO TOTAL INTEGRATION philosophy, and only those who have experienced it can understand its advantages.
